Car & Commercial Servicing Norwich
Here at Gotts we cover a wide range of services which are tailored to each individual car brand and model. If you are unsure or want to discuss with us further, please give us a call on 01603 304904.
Servicing
Our servicing is carried out to the exact specifications and standards of Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda dealers. We stock Quantum oils which are approved by Volkswagen and can use either genuine or non genuine parts on your vehicle depending on your budget and preference. If you are unsure of which service you require just bring your service book in on the day of your booking and we’ll check it for you. Should we find any other problems whilst working on your car, we will phone you and clear with you any extra costs before we do any other work.
Brake Fluid Change
Make sure you have your brake fluid changed every two years. Brake fluid absorbs water degrading brake performance.
MOT
We will get your car through its MOT. We first test for the MOT and then call you with any problems. Normally we can give you a price over the phone (one to make you happy!) carry out the necessary repairs if required and return your car complete with the MOT certificate.
Cambelts (Timing Belt)
At Gott’s Van & Car Service Centre our trained technicians are experts in cambelt changes – a vital requirement on most vehicles at manufacturer recommended mileages. If the cambelt is not replaced at the set intervals it could break and then, most often, cause expensive damage to the engine.
Diagnostics
We have the latest Snap on Solus , Autodata, Autel and VCDS (formerly VAG-COM) diagnostic equipment to plug into your vehicle’s electronic control system and identify issues. The majority of modern vehicles can produce a huge variety of fault codes that get stored within the vehicle’s memory system. Some vehicles have several units, not only to control the engine management but also brakes, suspension and even windscreen wipers. Having the correct diagnostic equipment and technical training on fault diagnosis is vital for identifying the correct cause of issues and preventing further costly component failures.
